Simu Liu, Manny Jacinto and Super Junior’s Siwon among celebrities spotted in Singapore during F1 weekend

The Singapore Grand Prix has always been a good place to do some celebrity-spotting, and we’re not just talking about the stars performing every night on stage or those racing around the Marina Bay Street Circuit. 
This year’s event, which saw McLaren’s Lando Norris take the top spot on Sunday (Sep 22) night, was no different. 
Over the weekend, stars from countries such as the US, South Korea and Thailand were spotted at this year’s race, including Marvel star Simu Liu and Manny Jacinto.
Liu and his friends, Chris Kim and Jubilee Media CEO Jason Y Lee, were spotted at the race’s Sky Suite on Saturday night where they also took a picture with OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder who had performed the previous night.
Also spotted with the trio was The Acolyte star Manny Jacinto who was in town with his partner, actress Dianne Doan. Jacinto appeared to be a guest of the BWT Alpine F1 team as he posed for a photo in the team’s garage while wearing their tag.
K-pop fans will be pleased to know that Super Junior member Siwon was also there to liven up the festivities. In addition to watching the race, the 38-year-old also took the time to try the racing simulator at the Singapore Airlines Fan Village booth.
Liu, Jacinto and Siwon were also spotted at think tank Milken Institute’s Asia summit which was held at the Four Seasons Hotel Singapore from Sep 18 to 20.
Although it’s uncertain if he attended the F1 race, American singer Eric Nam was in Singapore over the weekend for the launch of Audemars Piguet’s new Royal Oak Concept timepiece.
Nam, Liu and Jacinto were also seen having a meal at one-Michelin star restaurant Candlenut.
Other regional stars who were spotted in Singapore over the weekend include Thai actress Sutatta Udomsilp, who was a guest at the Paddock Club, and former South Korean TV announcer Park Yoo-ra, the sister of EXO member Chanyeol.
